Immediately following her speech, Maddow said, "Bachmann speaking at her campaign headquarters in Iowa tonight, not dropping out of the race. I'm sorry to have to headline that from her speech, but when you finish sixth in Iowa, that's what people are looking for."
Maddow was not the only person wondering if Bachmann would drop out of the GOP primary race after Iowa. Bachmann's former campaign manager, Ed Rollins, appeared on Fox News Tuesday night before the caucus results had been determined. He also spoke of Bachmann's future past Iowa. Speaking of Bachmann, Rollins said, "At the end of the day she didn't quite pass the muster that she needed to be looked at as a credible candidate. I think if she goes on she's just going to go into debt."
Bachmann will address supporters during a press conference Wednesday morning.
