Rachel Maddow may have short dark hair today, but her high school yearbook photo reveals that the MSNBC host once had long blonde locks.

Maddow, a California native who graduated from Castro Valley High School in 1990 before going on to Stanford and Oxford, once described herself as "a cross between the jock and the antisocial girl."
