UPDATE: Allred says "Uchitel has had absolutely no contact with Tiger Woods for quite some time."
Earlier this week a report emerged claiming that Tiger Woods is still seeing one of his alleged mistresses, New Yorker Rachel Uchitel (PHOTOS). Yesterday, Hollyscoop spoke with Uchitel's power lawyer, Gloria Allred, who said Uchitel is in Florida to visit family. But when the site asked Allred if Uchitel and Woods remain in touch, the attorney declined to comment.
While it is possible that the two are still seeing each other -- Woods once allegedly wrote to Uchitel that he "finally found someone I connect with," and he was purportedly unafraid to share his wild sex dreams with the New York night club hostess -- another explanation is possible as well. As SportsByBrooks writes, Allred has an incentive to keep her client in the news, and issuing non-denials is one way to do that. Moreover, it would be crazy for Woods to even think of seeing Uchitel right now:
Woods still has plenty of endorsement deals ultimately worth hundreds of millions seemingly still intact. If smoking gun evidence surfaced that he is currently seeing Uchitel, it would dissolve his marriage in mere minutes and all that sponsor money would go up in smoke.
Allred herself has represented a string of high-profile clients over the years, from Scary Spice to Hooters waitresses to Amber Frey. She is also representing another of Woods' alleged mistresses, 48-year-old "cougar" Theresa Rogers, who may have tried to have the golfer's baby without his knowledge. Woods also allegedly told Rogers that he only married wife Elin Nordegren (PHOTOS) to boost his image. Rogers has been largely quiet about her connection to Woods, but she may be in the process of securing a payout to guarantee her silence.
