If there wasn't already hostility between Fox Sports' Erin Andrews and Boston sports radio host Kirk Minihane, there sure is now.
On the "Dennis and Callahan Morning Show" on Wednesday, Minihane had some choice words for Andrews. The remarks were sparked by Andrews' dugout interview with St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright, whom she questioned about throwing Derek Jeter a couple easy pitches during the 2014 All-Star game.
Andrews ended the interview with the question, "Don't you just love social media?" alluding to Twitter's role in hyping the Wainwright/Jeter controversy.

Apparently incensed by the question, Minihane launched into a not-exactly-nuanced rant about the female sports reporter:
What a bitch! I hate her! What a gutless bitch! Seriously, go away. Drop dead. I mean, seriously what the hell is wrong with her? First of all, follow up. Second of all, the guy admitted he did it. He admitted it. He told reporters he threw a couple of pipe bombs. How is that social media’s fault? I hate her. I seriously hate her so much. Social media is the reason she has a big house! Shut up. Shut up. I shouldn’t call her a bitch, I’m sure she’s a nice person.”
Another host chimed in and said, “She’s probably a bitch.”
Andrews was further referred to as a "bimbo" and a "bubblehead." As the hosts ran out of steam, Minihane seems to have realized he'd crossed a line, saying to himself, "I’m gonna get in trouble for this."
