Radiohead, Massive Attack DJ Occupy London Event (VIDEO)

Radiohead Makes Show Of Support For The Occupy Movement

Radiohead may have disappointed fans stateside in Occupy Wall Street's early days, but now we know this was no indicator of the band's stance toward the movement. The Radiohead frontman and Massive Attack's Robert "3D" Del Naja DJed for a group of 200-some Occupy London campaigners earlier this week at the "Bank of Ideas," a warehouse formerly owned by UBS bank, Reuters reported.

According to the report, the musicians reached out to the activists, not the other way around, and held the event as a way of thanking them for their efforts.

"Unfortunately a lot of people, they don't pay attention to politics, but they pay attention to Radiohead, they pay attention to Massive Attack," one activist told Reuters. "I think that will help us get out to a different audience."
