Papa John's Deliveryman Accused Of Selling Cocaine Out Of Pizza Boxes

Some cocaine with your pizza?

Like the ice-cream-truck and bagel-store dealers before him, Papa John's deliveryman Ramon Rodriguez of Brooklyn was arrested Wednesday for selling cocaine stashed inside pizza boxes.

NBC reports that on 19 separate occasions since 2011, Rodriguez, who worked at the Sunset Park Papa John's, allegedly sold $40,000 worth of the drug to undercover officers.

Officials say Rodriguez was in uniform during the alleged drop-offs.

One of Rodriguez's deliveries included a kilo of cocaine for $27,500, according to police.

Jonathan Martinez was also arrested in connection to the drug bust. It's not clear whether Martinez was also a Papa John's employee.

Charges against Rodriguez include the criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance.
