Rand Paul Reveals When He'll Decide On A 2016 Run

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said Tuesday he will make up his mind on a 2016 White House presidential run in "the March/April time frame."

The Kentucky congressman made the comments during an appearance on Fox News' "The Kelly File." Paul also announced on Tuesday that he would be seeking a second term as senator in 2016.

When host Megyn Kelly asked how a Kentucky law preventing candidates from being on the ballot for two offices at the same time could affect his decision on a presidential run, Paul suggested a loophole -- turning Kentucky's primary into a caucus since most don't require a printed ballot.

"I think there are many different ways it could be done," Paul said. "Probably the simplest way is that the primaries in Kentucky are controlled by the party and we could simply move up our primary, make it a caucus. We would be more relevant, and then the law wouldn't apply. So that's probably the easiest way to fix things should I decide to run."
