Held immediately following the John Varvatos Spring/Summer 2017 Fashion Show on July 14th, as the last official event of New York Fashion Week Men's. John debuted his latest Fragrance Dark Rebel Rider a few hours later. I was there in time to ask John a few questions before the night grew and the party got crazier. Taking place in the Lower East Side of Manhattan myself, along with more press people, and paparazzi awaited his arrival. I was second in line on a very hot and humid Thursday evening dressed in a black and white with Common Project sneakers. Read the entire script below of what was said between John & I as it was quite loud outside and/or press play to see me in action.

The audio was a little low compared to the noise level of the venue, so here's a transcript of how the conversation went.

Me; Hi John, Nice to see you. I met you at the last fragrance launch

John: Yeah, you're looking good

Me; Thanks Man! So How many more fragrances are you going to continue to make?

John: Laughs; I don't know! We're not counting them. There's only reason to make a fragrance if you have something new to say

Me; So what you do have to say this time around?

John; Well you know we launched a fragrance last year called Dark Rebel, and it was a home-run, and I wanted to do something that was a even a little more bad ass than that, and so we wrapped this bottle like a black leather jacket with zippers. The juicy is a little smokier, a little tougher, a little sexier, and I felt this was the extension of where we started.

Me; Okay last question, Compared to your other fragrances how does this stand out? Which one's your favorite?

John: That's a tough question. Cause I love them all for different reasons. Some are for the weekend at the beach, some are you know. Listen you always love your first one, I love my classic in a way, but this one is a pretty special fragrance.

Me; Okay I can't wait to try it out. Thank you John!

John; Thank you!

"Dark Rebel Rider is an extension of the Dark Rebel fragrance collection, which originally launched in 2015. The fragrance is inspired by the bad-boy biker, who walks to his own beat and has an edge but also doesn't try too hard," said John Varvatos.

Available now exclusively at Bloomingdale's and other fine retailers beginning August 2016. SRP: 4.2 FL. OZ - $89
