Did you notice? It's a readers market. There are a number of great books out there these days and I've fallen in love with going to Barnes and Noble or Amazon to browse authors and grab a great read. No longer are the days when reading was boring or lackluster, it's a great time to turn off the TV and really enjoy great literature.
I've started a book club on facebook called Readers and Thought Leaders. It's mainly for entrepreneurs and people that love to read about business and innovation. I've found business minds serve as a great authors and story tellers and have a lot to offer in terms of advice and feedback.
Business is a great genre to start with if you are filled with good ideas and don't know how to begin. There are so many networks and organizations these days that support business owners. One organization that I'm a part of is the YEC. The help-desk is a non profit organization that supports Young Entrepreneurs in growing their ventures and trading ideas on success and sustainability. I find entrepreneurship to be a lot easier when surrounded by supportive like-minded peers. Many times, the difference between success and failure has a lot to do with having a good support system and great advice. If you are looking to venture into entrepreneurship, one book I would recommend is: The 100 Best Business Books of All Time, which will of course lead you in the right direction toward others.
