A friendly lunch between friends on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" -- as if there is such a thing on these shows -- took a turn when Brandi Glanville brought up tabloid rumors that Kyle Richards' husband, Mauricio, was cheating on her. Brandi said she was doing it as a kindness for Kyle.
“I just wanted to give her a heads up, because it’s really difficult to get your head around that," Brandi said.
“I’ve never brought up lies in tabloids about them. I’ve never done that," Kyle insisted. "I’ve heard lies about every single one of them. I’ve never said that. I would not do that.”
“I was squirming in my seat, but only because I did not know Kyle's face could move the amount it did when she tried to process Brandi's attack," wrote The Stir's Rebecca Stokes. But Ilana Angel, writing for the Jewish Journal, loved it. "Kyle is pissed off and I love that someone is willing to call Kyle out because she has no problem calling other people out," she wrote. "The entire season will be about Kyle defending her marriage, then we will see pictures of Mauricio with his mistress and it will be sad. Nobody wishes that on another woman. Ever.”
