The "Real Housewives of New Jersey" returns Sunday, but if you've had your eye on any pre-premiere press, you'd think that Teresa Giudice got the boot from the franchise. The rest of the cast refused to do any season 4 promotion with the infamous table-flipper.
“It is so ugly between Teresa and the rest of the cast that they can’t even be in the same room with each other,” one network insider tells me. “But this isn’t one-sided, and the hate goes both ways. Caroline Manzo, Kathy Wakile, Jacqueline Laurita and Melissa Gorga want nothing to do with Teresa, and she wants nothing to do with them.”
In a very unusual move, producers decided to shoot this season while last season was still airing, hoping to capture Teresa’s bankruptcy troubles and the breakdown between her and the rest of the group.
"This season is the most dramatic yet,” one cast member tells me. “It got so ugly that I’m not sure any of us will want to return for another season if Teresa remains on the show. The betrayal and backstabbing is heartbreaking. I have not seen how it will be all edited together yet, but let's just say everyone will get to see [Teresa’s] true colors.”
