There's been a lot of good stuff about the nutty comments coming from the right regarding "real America," pro-American parts of the country (read: small towns), and how much we liberals (read: big city) hate the country.

But if you haven't you should check out Jack Farrell's latest over at Thomas Jefferson Street.

He notes that his father--a New Yorker--was a soldier stationed near Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 and served proudly through the war.

He is not here to do it, so allow me to refute the suggestion made by the McCain campaign and its surrogates that the Farrells, and Americans like us, are "anti-American" or not from the "real America" or "Communists" because we don't come from the mythical small town of Palinville, where good Christian families, who do the work and fight our country's wars, vote only for white Republicans.

Read the whole thing here, it's good stuff.
