Rebecca Black and Rebekah Brooks appear to have little in common besides similar names. One is an accidental pop star whose song "Friday" was one of the most viral hits in recent memory, and the other is a disgraced ex-News International chief who was arrested for her involvement in the News of the World phone hacking scandal.
But that didn't stop someone from making this surprisingly well-done parody of "Friday" from the point of view of a very auto-tuned Brooks, underlining the inanity of News Corp's current troubles by pairing them with Black's unlikely hit.
The video features the obligatory, now-familiar footage of James and Rupert Murdoch in, yes, the front and back seats. Plus, a guest rap from the tycoon himself.
