Trapped in a dismal job market, recent college graduates are struggling to make it on their own.

Only 31 percent of recent college graduates say they are making a reasonable salary for their industry, and 17 percent of them financially depend on their parents, according to Credit Sesame, an online financial management tool.

A full 2 percent of recent college graduates are working in unpaid internships, and only 40 percent of them are working full-time in the field that they studied.
