In life, we often desire little to no discomfort from the easy road of transition from one stage of life to another. Furthermore, I have learned that the greatest victories won come from successfully navigating our tests and trials. So why do we expect to embark on our greatness without paying its price? Cleaning up our inner house requires the ability to see that the universe requires us to lose in order to win.

Stepping into our life's purpose without maturing in our thoughts is the equivalent of living as an emotional and spiritual hoarder. So what do I mean? Spiritually and emotionally we must shed the immature thoughts and emotional growth stunts keeping us from living our best life. When we're not willing to exercise the ability to remove what is no longer working and replace it with a new greater form of ourselves, we forfeit the opportunity to grow. Examples of space creating contentment in your new career path include losing an apartment to gain the house of your dreams, or getting laid off from a job that under values your work and under pays you, for a company were you enjoy working and are paid what you're worth. This is the entire cycle of life requiring our very fiber to be stretched and pulled.

So how do we grow? We must begin by acknowledging the need to remove behaviors, emotional connections and spiritual baggage stopping our growth. Next, we must begin to envision our life with a greater purpose and begin to live in that. This is where true change begins. What are you willing to remove in your life in order to have inner peace? What risk are you willing to take to gain the success you always desired? What uncomfortable means will your journey take, that you are willing to navigate? Reconstruction in our lives will require tests and trials. Now is the time for us to stand strong in them and grow into our greatest selves!
