Malaysian artist Hong Yi, who also goes by the name "Red," has started a fun food art project on Instagram, where she already has nearly 2,500 followers. For each day during the month of March, Red posts a different artistic image made entirely out of food, with a white plate as her backdrop. She started the project in order to push herself to be more creative, she wrote on Facebook.
So far, Red has crafted everything from an edible garden to a re-creation of Edvard Munch's painting The Scream. Follow her on Instagram here and see more of her work here.
