Red Lobster Waitress Attacked For Filling Water Glasses Too Often At St. Louis Location

Red Lobster Waitress Attacked By Customers Over Water Filling

Three woman who patronized a Red Lobster in St. Louis are accused of attacking a waitress.

St. Louis' CBS affilate writes that Sharrell Evans, Britley Green and Geneen Green were charged with mob action and aggravated battery after allegedly throwing water on a waitress and striking her with their hands and a menu.

A witness at the restaurant said the women were upset because the waitress was filling their glasses too often. Ambulance crews gave the waitress a quick evaluation, but she declined further medical attention and went back to work.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, a Red Lobster spokesperson said the incident was "unfortunate" and stressed that "the safety of our employees and guests is our highest priority."

Another waitress was attacked the same location last December by four customers. The two attacks do not appear to be related.
