Red Paints Yao Ming Portrait With A Basketball (VIDEO)

Painting A Portrait With The Most Awkward Paintbrush Ever

Why paint with a paintbrush when you can use the most awkwardly sized tool ever? One spunky young girl, who goes by "Red," has doubled the functionality of a basketball by using it and it alone to paint a scarily accurate rendering of Yao Ming's profile. Don't go pigeonholing Red as a basketball painter though -- this one time, she created a large-scale Ai Weiwei portrait using only sunflowers, the artist known (in part) for his "Sunflower Seeds" installation. Do basketball paintbrush only work when they're making basketball-related art? Do Ai Weiweis only grow from sunflower seeds? Does everything in the universe make sense now? Yes! Thank you, Red girl!
