The Inspiration: "The Reem Acra Fall 2016 collection focuses on delivering to today's bride that one magic moment," Acra says of the inspiration for this season's line. "Every bride will know she's found the right one -- the dress on her wish list -- with this collection." Using the brand's signature embroideries in refreshing combinations of lace, tulle, organza and crepe, the line indeed took the crowd on a magical journey down the aisle.
The Looks: Acra has never been one to shy away from the unexpected. When she promised to bring a magical moment to the runway this season, she didn't hesitate to deliver with whimsical bridal headphones, wedding-worthy crop tops and lingerie-inspired corset details. With modern takes on voluminous skirts, lace edging, seemingly endless trains and an emphasis on lightness, this season was all about the bride taking center stage and marching to her own beat (literally!).
