Reggie Love, Obama Personal Aide, Leaving The White House (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: So Long To The White House's Hottest

If you hear the faint sounds of tears falling and tissues crumpling, it's because we are marking a very sad day here at HuffPost Style: Reggie Love is reportedly leaving the White House.

Love first entered our lives during the Democratic primaries in 2007 and 2008, when he emerged as Barack Obama's personal aide and "body man," i.e. personal assistant, gatekeeper and basketball partner. For six years the Duke University graduate (and former basketball and football star) attended to the personal wants and needs of the president, from snack choices to music preferences.

He also captured the attention of the American public, given his young age and good looks. In March 2009, we asked you, dear readers, who was the White House's hottest and Reggie Love came out on top, winning 26.6 percent of the 15,000 votes cast.

Now, writes the Washington Post, 30-year-old Love is heading for the door. His departure from the White House comes at a transitional time, as many of President Obama's top advisers have left in the past year.

But we'll always have pictures of Reggie to remember him by. Below, a look back at the dashing young White House aide. (Hit "Fullscreen" for big photos!)
