How many of you are happy in your marriage? How many of you have a great sex life in your marriage? How many of you are really excited about being with the same person every day?

How many of you can truly look at your husband or wife and say that you desire them in all ways? How many of you enjoy each other's company, and still enjoy going on dates and doing fun things together?

Long-term relationships are definitely a challenge. We all know the benefits: getting to know somebody inside and out, having someone who is both best friend and lover, being with someone who always has your back, and having someone with whom you can have a family.

Some people, however, look at monogamy as monotony. So many of us get into a relationship, and it becomes routine and monotonous. It becomes the "same-old, same-old" every single day.

What was once a great sex life just seems to dissipate. All of a sudden, you stop having sex altogether. It happens to couples every day.

Every day it seems you read about or hear about couples who have split up because the relationship becomes monotonous. The monogamy actually becomes monotonous.

Over the next two weeks, I'll be writing about ways to break up the monotony in your monogamy. I'm going to talk about a great vacation, and about creating a plan full of amazing things to reignite the flame in your relationship.

We all know it's one of the biggest challenges. At the end of the day when the kids are all asleep and it's just the two of you looking at each other, you need to look at each other with that fire and that passion that you once had.

So we're going to go on a two week binge, to get rid of all of the monotony in your monogamy. Come and join me. I'll see you guys on the next blog post.
