Much like the fall/winter season, finding your special someone can cause you to pack on the pounds! Between the nights in, elaborate romantic dinners and popping a bottle of bubbly during your favorite reality show, finding your other half can lead to a bigger waistline. In a recent U.K. study, 62 of women polled admitted to gaining weight after entering a relationship and two-thirds of the couples asked confessed that they put on weight together. So, is it possible to find love and keep fit too? You bet it is. We have got five ways to keep staying in shape with your loved one creative, fun and simple!

Throw A Party
We told you these would be fun! Host a party for your other couple friends, but skip out on the high calorie booze. Heading out to the bars can result in a lot of extra sugary cocktails. Try mixing up some stiff, low calorie cocktails that will get the party going without the bloat! Not sure where to start? We got you covered.

Snuggle Session
Watching football, or your favorite television show can be a relaxing and romantic way to end your day, but it can also creep up on your waistline. Try surprising your guy or girl with delicious low calorie bites to nibble on during a night in.

Sweating Together
Trying a new fitness routine together is a great way to spend quality time, keep active, change up your typical date night, work up a sweat and heat things up in the bedroom! What more can you ask for? Pushing yourself to new limits is a great way to bond with your partner and see a different side of him or her that you don't regularly see during a relationship.

Movie Night
Heading to a movie? Everybody loves a bag of popcorn and peanut M&M's, but try getting sneaky. Fill your bag with healthy snacks, or even packable meals! Thinking ahead on movie night pays off big time in the long run.

Talk It Out
Being on the same page is huge when it comes to relationships. Health and fitness should be no exception. If you feel like you are overindulging or constantly ordering in late night, talk about it! Working on ways to keep your relationship healthy shows not only your commitment to the partnership but yourself, both equally sexy qualities. Find what works best for you and get empowered!
