Remi Ochlik Dead: Video Shows Journalist's Last Moments (VIDEO)

VIDEO: Journalist's Last Moments Recorded In Homs

New footage obtained by Reuters purports to show photojournalist Remi Ochlik shortly before he was killed in the Syrian city of Homs on Wednesday. The amateur video shows the photographer laughing and joking amid a group of rebel fighters in a Homs apartment.

Ochlik was killed alongside American war reporter Marie Colvin when a shell hit a house in Homs' Baba Amr neighborhood.

The video, reportedly filmed by rebel fighters, also shows photographer Paul Convoy, who was injured in the same attack.

"There were a couple of close hits. Then we took a direct hit somewhere," Convoy says from a makeshift hospital. "I was hit in the leg. I think my colleague Marie Colvin is dead, and Remi also is dead as far as I know."

Syrian security forces have shelled the city of Homs for the past 3 weeks. Activists say hundreds of people have died in the assault.

On Friday, more than 60 nations called on Syrian President Bashar Assad to accept a cease-fire and allow humanitarian aid to access the city. "You will pay a heavy cost for ignoring the will of the international community and violating the human rights of your people," U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told the Assad regime, according to the Associated Press. She said Syria's regime has "ignored every warning, squandered every opportunity and broken every agreement."
