Report On Your Gulf Oil Spill Meetup

With many thanks to our readers and engaged commenters, conversation regarding the Gulf oil spill has been strong here on the Huffington Post. On June 8th, in collaboration with Meetups Everywhere, we encouraged you to meet up with other concerned citizens and take this conversation out into the real world.

More than 1,500 people self-organized, arranging over 300 Meetups to talk about how to help the Gulf oil spill clean up effort, strategies for reducing our dependence on oil and how to work towards a clean energy future.
