Repurposing Idea Shows You How To Organize Hair Ties (PHOTOS)

Yep, it really can.

When we're cleaning up the house, there's one thing that's for certain: we'll find dozen of hair ties in the most unusual spots. Ladies, you can agree that these little elastic bands tend to end up under the couch, on door knobs and in comforters. Needless to say, it's pretty hard to keep them together and tidy. But we came across this cool repurposing idea on Reddit on how to organize hair ties.

Reddit user thinkadinky suggests simply taking a carabiner lock (yes, the type used for hiking), and slipping multiple bands onto the device.

This idea is super practical and we're not the only ones who think so. User thats_wat_she_said_ does this and keeps it by the sink for easy access.

Gadling also recommends this handy tool for attaching baseball caps and shoes to a backpack if you don't have any room left in the bag, so these little locks can be useful for the guys, too. We even suggest trying to organize a few hats on a larger device to keep them neat at home.
