'Revolution' Season Finale Pushed To June 3

'Revolution' Finale Delayed

The "Revolution" season finale has been delayed.

Season 1 was originally scheduled to sign off on Monday, May 27, but the "Revolution" season finale will now air on Monday, June 3. NBC pre-empted the Monday, April 15 episode of "Revolution" for an NBC News special report on the Boston Marathon bombings. That episode will now air on Monday, April 22, pushing the schedule back a week.

An NBC spokesperson confirmed the change.

The push to June will take "Revolution" even further out of the May sweeps date range the networks covet in order to woo advertisers.

"Revolution" airs on Mondays at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
