Rex Ryan Alters His New York Jets Tattoo To Get Buffalo Bills Colors

It was time to swap the green for blue.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the coach, who was fired by the Jets in December, recently altered his Jets-themed tattoo to reflect his allegiance with his new team, the Buffalo Bills.

The tattoo, inked on Ryan's right arm, depicted his wife wearing a green No. 6 Jets jersey -- a nod to former Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez. The Journal writes that Ryan got the tattoo recolored to blue, one of the Bills’ primary colors, in an Arizona tattoo parlor last week. The recoloring cost him $80.

“You’ve got to turn the page,” the 52-year-old coach is quoted as saying.

Ryan became the Bills’ head coach in January after six seasons with the Jets.
