This week, we started out with an update from Cathy Marino-Thomas, President of Marriage Equality USA, about the recent win in Rhode Island and debates in Nevada and elsewhere. Then I spoke to Rhea Wong of Breakthrough New York about preparing low-income NYC Public School students for the challenges facing our schools. Finally, we heard from Matt Weiss and Sally Greenspan of Friends of the 20th Street Park about open space in NYC.
