If you live in Rhode Island, here's what you need to know about voting on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012.

The closing time for all Rhode Island polls is 8 p.m. Opening time varies by municipality, so it's worth checking your local polling place, but most polls open at 7 a.m.

Voters in Rhode Island need to supply identification at the polls, so keep that in mind.

Rhode Island will grant four electoral votes to its victor in the presidential race. The state has voted for the Democratic presidential candidate every year since 1988.
