Ricardo Medina Jr., the actor best known for his role as Deker on "Power Rangers Samurai," has been arrested for the murder of his roommate, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office announced on Thursday.

The actor is charged with one count of murder for the fatal 2015 stabbing of Josh Sutter, with whom he shared a house in Green Valley. The two men reportedly got into an argument over Medina Jr.'s girlfriend, then, things got physical and Medina Jr. reportedly stabbed Sutter with a Samurai sword.

According to a news release from the LA County DA's Office, Medina Jr., 36, is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday. The prosecution will ask for bail to be set at $1 million.

This is the second time Medina Jr. has been arrested in relation to the crime; about a year ago, he was initially arrested for stabbing Sutter. The actor claimed the attack was self-defense and was released.

If convicted, the actor will face 26 years to life in a state prison.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the case.
