Amid another Seattle Seahawks celebration, Richard Sherman was again conducting postgame interviews. Those hoping for fireworks were likely disappointed as the Seahawks' cornerback hailed the performance of his teammates in their 43-8 win over the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII, rather than calling out any opponents.
"We played to our standard," Sherman told ESPN's Ed Werder on the field at MetLife Stadium when asked how the Seahawks' defense shut down Peyton Manning. "It was a team effort. It was a total team effort: The back end, the linebackers, the d-line, everybody did their parts today."
