Rick Ross Makes Acting Debut In 'Magic City' Season 2 (VIDEO)

Hip-hop "bawse" Rick Ross is making a foray into acting, and the silver screen setting couldn't be more fitting.

The Miami native of rough-and-tumble Carol City announced his debut Monday via Twitter in a new role on second season of Starz 1950s crime drama "Magic City."

Set in Miami after the rise of Castro, the series dives into the dirty dealings of fictionalized Miami Beach hotelier Ike Evans, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

And what role will the Maybach Music mogul be playing? None other than--you guessed it--a godfather, a Don, or simply, a boss. Check out the season two trailer above, in which Ross plays "The Bolita Boss" and cooly announces to associates, "God is good… until he ain't."
