Rick Santorum is back, and predictably, he's set to throw his support behind another anti-gay event.
The National Organization for Marriage's President Brian Brown announced Saturday that the former presidential candidate will march and speak at the "March for Marriage" on June 19 in Washington D.C.
A portion of the announcement for the event, which hopes to help "preserve marriage as the union of one man and one woman," reads:
I'm thrilled to announce that my good friend and stalwart marriage, family, and life champion, presidential candidate and former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum will be speaking at this year's March for Marriage on June 19th... Santorum has never hesitated to stand for marriage and make the argument that the social values of our nation are of primary importance to the well-being of our families and children.
Other speakers slated to attend the "March for Marriage" include Governor Mike Huckabee, Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone and New York State Senator Rev. Rubin Diaz.
Though notoriously anti-gay, Santorum has recently dodged questions about his stance on same-sex marriage. Check out a video below of him talking around the issue while on Fox News.
