Ricky Martin Is Engaged And Ellen Got All Of The Proposal Details

Ricky Martin is engaged!

The singer announced that he is set to marry his partner Jwan Yosef while sitting down for an interview with Ellen DeGeneres in a show set to air Wednesday.

“He’s a conceptional artist and I’m a collector so I started looking for art and I saw his art and I went crazy because I really love what he does. Really original. And then I contacted him,” he said of meeting Yosef more than a year ago.

Martin, who was wearing a ring on his left ring finger, was the one who popped the question.

“I proposed. I was really nervous, but I got on my knees and I took out the little metal box I just had it in a little velvet pouch and instead of saying ‘Will you marry me?’” he said. “I said, ‘I got you something!’ Bad. And then he was like, ‘Yes.’ I said, ‘I want to spend my life with you’ and he was like, ‘What is the question?,’ ‘Would you marry me?’ That’s it.”
