Rihanna will appear alongside her BFF, Cara Delevingne, in the sci-fi flick. Delevingne will play the part of Laureline in the upcoming movie, which is an adaptation of the French graphic novel series Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. "Valerian" is slated to hit theaters in 2017.

This is not the first time the "Bitch Better Have My Money" singer has appeared on the big screen. Rihanna starred in 2012's "Battleship," and also had roles in "This Is The End," "Annie" and "Home."

Look out for Rihanna's upcoming album, "Anti," and her performance at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in December.
