CNN Weather Reporter Jumps To 'Entertainment Tonight'

Former CNN weather reporter Rob Marciano will join CBS' "Entertainment Tonight" in 2013.

Marciano has been named as the co-host of the programming, joining Nancy O’Dell in January. Speaking of his new role, Marciano called the move a "dream come true."

"I am honored to be joining the distinguished and talented team at 'Entertainment Tonight,' all of whom are the gold standard in entertainment journalism," he said through a statement. "For over 30 years, 'ET' has been a powerhouse in the entertainment industry, and to be part of that blue-chip franchise is a dream come true."

CNN viewers may know Marciano from his extensive reporting on Hurricane Katrina, the BP oil spill and most recently, Hurricane Sandy.
