Robert Jeffress, Televangelist, Compares Homosexuality, Gay Sex To Plugging TV Into 'Wrong Outlet'

Televangelist Offers Ridiculous Gay Sex Analogy

First Baptist Church Pastor Robert Jeffress offered up a shocking analogy during a discussion of homosexuality.

Appearing on the Trinity Broadcasting Network’s "Praise the Lord," Jeffress suggested that gay sex was "like plugging a TV into a 220-volt power outlet rather than the recommended 120 outlet," adding that the act would "blow the TV to smithereens."

As Right Wing Watch reports, Jeffress also discussed recent controversy surrounding New York Jets' quarterback Tim Tebow's decision to drop out of a scheduled appearance at his Dallas magachurch.

Jeffress, of course, is no stranger to making anti-gay declarations. Last year, the Christian Post reported Jeffress was urging his ministry to support Chick-fil-A in the midst of the media firestorm over the fast food restaurant's confirmed contributions to anti-gay organizations. As Right Wing Watch points out, he also warned that gay people could begin to molest children.
