Robin Roberts Gets Holiday Visit From Good Morning America' Co-Hosts

Robin Roberts received a special visit from her "Good Morning America" co-hosts, who showed up on Thursday to decorate her home for the holidays.

George Stephanopoulos, Josh Elliott, Sam Champion and Lara Spencer went over to Roberts' apartment after Thursday's show. Roberts is currently on medical leave from "GMA" while she is treated for MDS, a rare blood and bone marrow disorder. She received a bone marrow transplant in September, and has responded positively to treatment.

On Thursday, Roberts tweeted, "So excited to see George, @SamChampion @JoshElliottABC and @LaraSpencer today at my apt after @GMA! I have your froggy slippers ready." The visit was, she said, the "best medicine ever."

The co-hosts decorated Roberts' Christmas tree, exchanged gifts and gathered around the coach with glasses of Roberts' lime sherbet punch for a toast. "Good Morning America" posted photos of the celebration. Elliot tweeted, “Had a perfect @GMA-family Xmas. Love--and delicious punch--for all."
