Robin Roberts made a triumphant return to the Oscars on Sunday, hitting the red carpet in a stunning blue velvet dress by Marc Bouwer.
Roberts, who just days ago resumed her "Good Morning America" hosting duties after a prolonged medical leave, took a private jet to Los Angeles so that her still-fragile immune system would not be compromised. She had made it a personal goal of hers to be able to host the Oscar pre-show for ABC, since it was at the 2012 Oscars that she began feeling signs of fatigue. She would soon discover that she needed a bone marrow transplant.
