Did Robin Thicke kick off 2014 on a sour note?

According to Page Six, Thicke threatened to cancel his New Year's Eve performance at SLS Hotel South Beach in Miami because his room was too small. A source reportedly stated, “He threatened to pull out if he didn’t get a bigger room,” and “His travel agent was calling all over Miami to get him a bigger room at a different hotel.”

A rep for SLS denied the claims that the singer made any demands for a larger room and stated, "Robin has been a great guest." Thicke ended up staying at the hotel and performing at its New Year's Eve bash, as planned. Early on New Year's Day, SLS tweeted a thank you to the "Blurred Lines" singer for his appearance

The hotel also posted a photo and a short video of Thicke performing.

Thicke sang alongside musician Skylar Grey at the hotel's "Great Gatsby"-themed celebration.
