Robin Thicke's Dad, Alan Thicke, Cowrote 'Ain't No Hat 4 That' Off Of 'Blurred Lines'

When One Thicke Isn't Enough

Father knows best, even for Robin Thicke. The 35-year-old singer teamed up with his famous father, actor Alan Thicke, for a new song off of his upcoming "Blurred Lines" album.

The father-son duo cowrote "Ain't No Hat 4 That." The track is a true family affair as Robin's 3-year-old son, Julian, is also featured. "Ain't No Hat 4 That" takes a disco feel and has Robin singing, "You got your cure for anxious / You got your pill for bad / But your fancy shoes and handbag / Can’t help you when you’re sad / ‘Cause there ain’t no hat for that.” Take a listen to "Ain't No Hat 4 That" above.

While 66-year-old Alan may be best known for his acting roles, including stints on "The Love Boat" and "Growing Pains," he is also an accomplished songwriter, nabbing composer credits for the theme songs to hit shows such as "Diff'rent Strokes" and "The Facts of Life."

Robin's sixth studio album, "Blurred Lines," hits stores on July 30.
