Congratulations are in order for The Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood and his wife, Sally, who just welcomed twins.

A representative for the couple confirmed the news to BBC, saying in a statement: "Ronnie & Sally Wood are delighted to announce the birth of their twins Gracie Jane (6lb) & Alice Rose (5.7lb). The girls arrived on 30 May at 22:30 and all are doing brilliantly. The babies are perfect."

The girls are the first children for Ronnie, 68, and Sally, 38, although he is the father of four other children from previous marriages to Jo Wood and the late Krissy Findlay.

Ronnie couldn't help but share his excitement on Twitter in the days prior to his daughters' birth.

The rocker and his wife, a theater producer, began dating in the summer of 2012 and were married in December of that year. They exchanged vows at The Dorchester Hotel in London, where singer Rod Stewart acted as best man.
