Ron Paul Slams The TSA, Groping: 'It Doesn't Make Us Safe' (VIDEO)

Ron Paul Talks 'Probing Groin Areas And Breast Areas'

Ron Paul railed against the Transportation Security Administration on Sunday, calling the agency a "bureaucratic monster" that undermines Americans' liberties.

"You know, when you look at some of these pictures of probing groin areas and breast areas and all this, and old women having to take their clothes off, if we as a people are so complacent that we can look at that and say 'oh that's ok they're making us safe' -- it doesn't make us safe," said Paul on CNN's State of the Union Sunday morning.

Paul said airport security should be controlled by private companies and not the federal government.

Paul and his son, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), have been longtime vocal opponents of the TSA, but the issue took center stage this week after Rand Paul said he was held up by the agency for refusing a full-body pat-down.

Ron Paul responded to the run-in by revitalizing his "End the TSA" fundraiser campaign.
