Ronan Farrow Praises Jon Stewart's 'Tirades Against Cable News'

Here's What Ronan Farrow Thinks About Jon Stewart's Cable News Tirades

Fox News may disagree, but Ronan Farrow thinks that Jon Stewart's rants about cable news are just perfect.

The MSNBC host, whose new show "Ronan Farrow Daily" premieres February 24, sat down with Stewart Thursday night and gave him a pat on the back.

"I've said this to you before, but your tirades against cable news are exactly what cable news needs," Farrow said.

"The nice thing is how well they listen," Stewart responded. "They've really toned their acts down."

"Right!? It's great. It's just quality, unbiased reporting," Farrow mocked.

Stewart asked Farrow if he planned to host his show like other cable news shows that just "get people to fight" in front of him. Farrow admitted that he does not know much at all about "how to do cable news" but told Stewart that a lot of what he has learned comes from watching "The Daily Show."

"Oh, lord help you," Stewart said.
