Ronda Rousey Congratulates Holly Holm In 'SNL' Opening Monologue

"Holly deserved to win."

Mixed martial arts superstar Ronda Rousey hosted this week's "Saturday Night Live" and almost immediately addressed the Holly Holm-sized elephant in the room.

During her opening monologue, Rousey's first major televised appearance since losing UFC 193, she congratulated Holm on her win.

"It's also the first time I'm talking to my fans since I lost to Holly Holm in November, which by the way was a fight Holly deserved to win," she said.

"I just wanted to take a minute to sincerely congratulate her," she continued, eliciting applause from the audience before quickly adding, "That's enough!"

The rest of Rousey's monologue was a riff on cliché boxing movies, complete with Kenan Thompson acting as her coach between rounds (of jokes) and Cecily Strong as our new favorite ring girl.

Rousey's delivery, despite landing a few punches, in our opinion mostly missed the mark. But we welcomed the return of Kate McKinnon's Justin Bieber impression and Selena Gomez closing out the monologue with "Come and Get It."
