Rooney Mara's Crop Top Is Cute, Colorful As Can Be (PHOTOS)

Rooney Mara, though a talented and versatile actress, has a pretty formulaic fashion sense. The 28-year-old stunner is fond of dramatic, black and white red carpet looks
-- with very little deviation (see here, here and here).

So when Rooney attended a screening of "Ain't Them Bodies Saints" on Saturday in a flirty ensemble, we were totally stunned. Not only did Mara ditch the basic black in favor of -- gasp! -- navy, she rocked a ruffly J.W. Anderson bustier crop top that would fit right in at a summer music festival.

At least Rooney's swooping updo was true to form. What do you think of her experiment with "color"?
