Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: 'Project Runway All Stars' Drop Out?

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Causes Some Drama

If you believe the rumors, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has been causing some trouble on the "Project Runway All Stars" set. The New York Post reports that the British model had committed to hosting the show, replacing Angela Lindvall... until she pulled out last minute over her role in the upcoming "Mad Max: Fury Road."

Cue the scrambling. According to the Post, the Weinstein Company, which produces the "Project Runway" spinoff, quickly auditioned several other fashion-types -- Karolina Kurkova, Hilary Rhoda, Rachel Roy -- before settling on Carolyn Murphy, Nineties model, Sports Illustrated swimsuit girl and the longtime face of Estee Lauder.

Strong as Murphy's fashion credentials are, we presume Lifetime wanted some star power in the form of Huntington-Whiteley. Ironically it's that growing stardom that apparently prevented her from taking on the role: "Mad Max: Fury Road" is a pretty major project starring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron (and her shaved head). Rosie is one of the five wives in the movie reboot, along with Riley Keough, Zoe Kravitz and Adelaide Clemens.

With a major movie on her plate, it seems Rosie didn't have time for TV. Although she's clearly not that busy: she was spotted with beau Jason Stratham at England's Wireless Festival just yesterday.

This is just another headache for the franchise, which recently had two cast members unexpectedly flee the season 10 set of "Project Runway" after having anxiety-induced breakdowns. Get it together, guys!

Will you watch "Project Runway All Stars" with Murphy at the helm? Or are you tuning in just to see Katie Holmes' buzzed-about guest starring role?
