Rosie O'Donnell has arrived in Chicago to begin work on her new talk show, which is scheduled to premiere in October on the Oprah Winfrey Network.

In a video uploaded Wednesday on Oprah.com, O'Donnell is shown entering Winfrey's Harpo Studios for the first time as the comedienne, actress and singer prepares to launch a return to daytime talk. Her original foray into talk, The Rosie O'Donnell Show, aired from 1996 to 2002.

In the video, embedded below, O'Donnell admitted to some nerves about her comeback show. As NBC Chicago reported, she said, "My kids said to me before I got here, 'Don't worry mom, you're still funny,' and I'm like, 'Mmmm, not so sure."

O'Donnell said she planned on exploring Chicago--and trying some deep dish.

I’m excited,” O’Donnell said, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. “I’m gonna go get myself some deep-dish pizza. Because you should. I’m pretty sure that’s on my diet.”

It appears that Chicago's newest resident has been going out on the town at least a bit since her arrival. Time Out Chicago theater editor Kris Vire tweeted Wednesday that the talk show host was "spotted on the lawn at Pritzker Pavilion for CSO Broadway concert."

O'Donnell avoided some controversy earlier this year when she was originally slated to stay at then-presidential candidate Donald Trump's hotel. After Huffington Post blogger and AfterEllen.com managing editor Trish Bendix, questioned that decision, she chose to stay elsewhere.
