Rosie Perez Hits Mitt Romney On Latino Remarks

Rosie Perez Mocks Mitt Over Latino Remarks

Fresh off the heels of their viral video starring Samuel L. Jackson demanding voters to "wake the f*ck up," two pro-Obama super PACs have teamed up with actress Rosie Perez for another comedic spin on political ads -- this time, dressing down Mitt Romney for his remarks at a secretly-taped fundraiser earlier this year.

In the first video from a new campaign by super PACs Jewish Council for Education and Research and American Bridge 21st Century, Perez hits back on Romney's remark at a May fundraiser that it "would be helpful to be Latino" to get elected president.

Perez, who has campaigned for President Obama in the past, mocks sympathy for Romney, joking that the election would be "in the bag" if Romney was a "lesbian Latina."

"Unfortunately for you Mitt, you were cursed with the hard-knock life of growing as up the son of a wealthy governor and auto executive," Perez says.

Perez continues: "Being Latino wouldn't win you the election. But saying jokingly that you wish you were might actually lose it for you."

The "Actually..." campaign will continue to highlight other remarks by the Republican presidential candidate, aiming to engage with voters through humor and celebrity buzz. Other videos in the series will star Sarah Silverman, W. Kamau Bell, and Elon James White.
