HuffPost Editor Roy Sekoff visited The Ed Show Thursday to discuss Michele Bachmann's potential 2012 presidential run. His conclusion? It has more to do with celebrity than politics.

"There's this modern obsession with getting candidates to say whether they're running for president or not," he said. "I mean, we have Marco Rubio, who's been a senator for less time than James Franco's arm was trapped by that rock...people are already asking him if he's running for president."

Sekoff continued, "It's become this Kabuki dance where they all get to be political teases. They show just enough skin to get a little attention, it ups their profile, they can raise more money, and then what happens? They get the book deal, then suddenly they're on Fox."
